From here, hover your mouse pointer over the "Search" (or "Cortana") option, then a submenu will appear. If you'd like to disable the search bar directly adjacent to the Windows Start menu button, start by right-clicking any empty space in the taskbar at the bottom of your screen. Luckily, though, they're really easy to get rid of. If you still dont see Toolbar, close and reopen Internet Explorer. But if you're like me and you either have your own search and multitasking solutions, or you don't plan on using these new features at all, then they really only serve to take up space. If you installed Toolbar but dont see it, try these steps.
